| I am an extremely lucky person. All of the professional services I offer (Leadership Development Coaching, Personal Development Coaching, Counseling, and Therapeutic Hypnotherapy) require that I work with the mind and essence of my clients. And because the work I do requires connecting to and inviting change at the core of a person, it is important that I demonstrate to the public that I have been well trained and licensed to be a highly skilled, ethical, and effective professional. Please thoroughly review my professional background. It is the platform through which I am able to do the work that I love to do.
What is my passion?
My passion is your success. As a student of human behavior I want to understand what motivates you to fulfull your life dreams with an optiminstic attitude while cultivating career, civic, and family pride. My goal is to support you in the actualization of your full potential as a human being. I believe that we are all anchored and satisfied each day in our business and personal lives when we are spiritually anchored and interconnected with life itself. I enjoy working closely with leaders who really want to know themselves and who are invested in making a significant difference with their lives (in the business ventures that they undertake as well as in the lives of the people they interact with).
Leaders motivate me to give my best effort in helping them help themselves and others. They are internally driven to accomplish important goals through creative behaviors while advancing positive attitudes among those who they meet. I prefer to work with people who are open to the challenge of improving social and business systems while achieving personal goals.
Who do I work with?
I am a Leadership and Personal Development Coach. I mainly coach executives, managers, and business owners who greatly desire to accomplish more while experiencing greater fun and peace in their lives. I coach my clients around setting priorities, developing compelling personal and business visions, anchoring and eliciting positive emotional resource states, clarifying roles and responsibilities, delegating work, effectively managing time, overcoming obstacles, charting success, managing stress, setting expectations, creating boundaries, and finding the balance and fun in life, both in and out of work.
What is my background?
I have been providing executive coaching since 2002 and came to coaching with a psychology/counseling/sales/management background with over 18 years of pharmaceutical management and sales experience, and twelve years of counseling experience.
Degrees
I earned a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Chestnut Hill College, a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialty in spiritual direction (supporting people in finding ultimate meaning in their lives) from Neumann College, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from LaSalle University.
Doctoral Dissertation
I defended my Doctoral dissertation on “The Benefits of Executive Coaching” in April 2003. My dissertation research indicates that coaching can improve an individual's problem solving abilities, sense of self-efficacy, and satisfaction with life in as little as six months. My current research interest explores the relationship between emotional-state-management and business and personal achievement.
License and Certifications
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have earned two certifications in Neuro-Linguistic-Programming and two certifications in Ericksonian Hypnosis from the NLP Center of New York. I currently work at the NLP Center of New York as an assistant trainer in NLP and Hypnosis under Dr. Rachel Hott and Steven Leeds. I have earned a certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and a certification in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy from the Albert Ellis Institute. I have also graduated from Coach University, a three year virtual coach training school.
Affiliations
I am an active member of the International Coach Federation, the Philadelphia Coaching Alliance, and the American Psychological Association.
My background provides a well-rounded resource for you. It has enabled me to integrate my knowledge, attitudes, and skills (in business and psychology) into a working model for coaching leaders in the art and skill of leading and achieving the type of success they seek both in and out of work.
I have integrated my business, counseling, and coaching education and experience into a powerful process by which I am able to support and accelerate the movement of my coaching clients toward the achievement of goals that have significant meaning to them and toward the experience of personal growth that allows them to genuinely experience a more satisfying life.
